Field Research, one of the Bay Area's most respected
marketing research companies, is hired by a variety of
clients who wish to obtain opinions from IT and Business
professionals on many topics including Line of Business Services and New
Technology Products.
The methodology used in these studies is that of the
increasingly recognized focus group. These groups meet
at our downtown offices and last for 1½ to 2 hours. An
honorarium ranging from $100 to over $250 is always paid
and lunch or dinner is usually served.
The studies are conducted strictly for research
purposes. Nothing is ever sold. Your anonymity is always
protected and your name will not appear on any mailing
lists as a result of having participated in one of the
studies. Your opinions become part of a generic pool of
information. Many professionals in the Bay Area and
nationally have participated in focus groups and have
enjoyed the experience. Respondents usually discover
that they learned something and are given the chance to
network with others in their industry.

Also, as a general rule, our focus groups and
participation are limited to the San Francisco Bay Area.
